FORTUNATE SONS
Based on the Sundance short In The Morning and screened
at 50 film festivals worldwide, Fortunate Sons
is a thriller set in London that follows a first generation Turkish
teenager whose life gets turned upside down when he's ordered to
kill his twin sister after she has dishonoured the family by being
the victim of a rape which leaves her pregnant. The film portrays
a gritty realism of the devastating practice known as ‘honour killings',
which claim 5,000 victims a year.

FRIEND REQUEST
Friend Request is a facebook whodunit/ horror movie written by
Joe Chun about Joy Classen and her group of old
high school friends who no sooner accept a new friend request,
than are murdered. Further investigations reveal the sender is
none other than their former ridiculed classmate Maxine Mansa ...
but she's been dead for the past 4 years! With the help of her
boyfriend police cop Aaron Myles, will Joy discover the identity
of the murderer before her entire year are killed off.
Cast attachments - Kelly Lynch (Charlies Angels) is attached
to play Maxine's mother and Kiowa Gordon (Eclipse ) is attached
to play Blake. Juno Temple (tbc) is reading for Joy and Max

WHERE YOU ARE
A supernatural drama by Sophie Berenice Scott
Mimi Wallis is a beautiful effervescent lady with a seemingly
perfect family. But when she dies prematurely of cancer at 50,
life will never be the same again. Once so close, the family begin
to crumble when her two daughters discover that Mimi was holding
a deep secret. Soon after her death, her husband,
Richard, unable to cope alone turns his back on his family. Whilst
their teenage daughter
Kiki drops out of school, abandoning her dream of becoming an actress,
their eldest
daughter Rachel, turns to religion, leaving her husband in the
process and moving to a kibbutz in Israel.
Can Mimi reconcile her estranged family and lead them back
to their true paths?
Where You Are will take you on an epic journey about how much you can affect life from the other side and the different ways that people process grief.

SIR DONALD SINDEN AT THE GARRICK CLUB
The
Garrick Club, a prestigious members only club was founded in
1831 in honour of the eminent actor David Garrick whose acting
and management at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane represented a golden
age of British drama. Its revered membership would go on to include
actors such as: Laurence Olivier and John Gielgud, writers - Charles
Dickens and AA Milne and painters such as John Everett Millais
and Dante Gabriel Rossetti . To this can be added numerous Barons,
Counts, Dukes, Earls and Lords, soldiers, parliamentarians and
judges. Today the Club has around 1,300 members who continue
to be drawn from across the same varied spectrum.
Within The Garrick's
walls, there are over 1000 paintings, drawings and sculptures and
thousands of prints and photographs. In this riveting documentary,
the distinguished actor Sir Donald Sinden takes us behind the rich
tapestry of the Garrick Club, recounting stories of its' colourful
members through to its' remarkable collection of art works representing
the history of British theatre.
